No that was Mike Reid.Gunnersaurus wrote:He gave us the run around twice last year.1989 wrote:Can't believe we're linked with average shite like him in the first place.
I wouldn't mind signing Wickham from Ipswich as an upgrade to Bendtner - assuming we can get rid for around £10m it would cost us about the same but get a player who has got true potential, a target man who can hold it up and would be happy (you would think) to become a squad player at a club playing Champions League football and get regular cup matches while he settles in and integrates into the team / premier league - a typical wenger signing as he is young, talented and we can flog him off again in 3 season for a profit

He's the last thing we need. More expensive potential? No thanks.StuartL wrote:No that was Mike Reid.Gunnersaurus wrote:He gave us the run around twice last year.1989 wrote:Can't believe we're linked with average shite like him in the first place.

Have to admit I'm very "meh" about Clichy tbh. I don't see him going to the Victims and coming back to haunt us, I mean the fucker NEVER scores!augie wrote:Papers this morning say that clichy is trying to force through a move to the bin dippers cos he wants to play for them rather than roma. We'll see how he feels about that when he gets his fcuking has burgled 2 or 3 times a yearRather sell him abroad tbh

Just another rat deserting Wenger's sinking ship...

Diego Forlan for 7m anybody ? Atletico Madrid have confirmed that he is available for 7m after accepting a bid from galatasary (which he turned down btw) and england is his favoured destination. For me his pace and goals would be a huge plus and his teamwork ethic would be an example for many of our younger players. If it was down to me I would buy him for 7m and sell billy big bollox (bendtner) for 8m plus which would be an upgrade for the team and a profit into the bargain - he would be a great signing for me
PS The scum are heavily linked with him

Experienced goal getter is needed.
Would also take
Baines
Cahill
Sissoko
Parker
Wickham
Oxlade-Chamberlain
Gervinho
Sell
Almunia
Clichy
Eboue
Squillachi
Denilson
Diaby
Rosicky
Cesc (quality player but wants to leave)
Arshavin
Bendtner
Vela
Sorry quartz but cannot agree on the last 3 names on your buying list and dont know enough about sissoko to either agree or disagree but if he will be off to the anc in jan then it would be a def no no for me
As regards the departure list the highlighted ones we wont be able to give away much less get a buyer for them

So Man U complete the signing of Young. So let's see, Fergie bought a right duffer for 7m in Bebe last year so what has he done?......Shipped him out for a year immediately, to boost his value to sell, and he's gone out and bought two very good, experienced PL players who will both strengthen his team. Meanwhile, Arsenal, who are in much more desperate need to rebuild have......done fuck all, we even have all of our dead wood still. Don't you just love this club.

I think young is a good buy for manure but his reported wages on ssn earlier was £130,000 a week, we would never of paid him that so it was a non starter i guess from Arsenals perspective.
It may be just me but are these wages being paid to players in the pl just absolutely fucking ridiculous.
It won't be long before a player demands £500,000 a week, I mean if man city wanted messi they could pay him that amount and that is, let's be honest, the only way they could possibly get him.
£26 million a year in wages alone.......nice

Vela isn't going anywhere
1449 BST: Arsenal will not sell Carlos Vela this summer, according to the Mexico international's agent. The 22-year-old was expected to be one of several players allowed to leave as Arsene Wenger revamped his squad following another campaign which promised so much but failed to deliver.

Steve O will be very glad to hear that
