SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's always jam for tomorrow, why would he change now, he didn't when he had the chance in 2008, that was a big opportunity missed as he sat on his hands (again)

But we must grasp this opportunity a buy and build well for the season ahead, and not take our foot off the pedal.

I just mean at least he has won something, a long time ago, but at least he has won something :D

One United 'fan' (he has never been to O T  ) claimed Mouse was a good appointment because he was Scottish  Clutching at straws or what

agree it's clutching at straws - but ManUre aren't the only ones clutching them
how many Weegie bosses have there been in the Prem?
add them to ex-Purplenose players and you've virtually got the majority of managers...

Higuain? Quality signing but I get the stench of season ticket renewal time about it. Once that passes we'll be back to getting linked with Kenyan 17 yeard olds.

Today's news:
New "jack" still popular
Sagna leaving this summer (we already know)
Coquelin to Schalke?
Arsenal are eyeing Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic.

Anything that puts an end to our interest in him is welcome although this is a bit extreme

Coquelin should get a game on Saturday with what looks quite likely that Mikel is injured, but a bit like Flamini it'll be too little too late.

I actually think he's not a bad squad player to have.

agree (good squad player + Flamsteresque)
but he still hasn't broken in - think maybe he, like Flamini, is more suited to 4-4-2
