As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
They continue to move the goalsposts In two years time they will try to pedal the same nonsense about how we will be better positioned in the future while it is is continually shown that the club cant and wont compete for the big trophies
Agree with Quartz sentiments on separating the sacking of board and the finances/ownership but the fact remains is that they are all interlinked.
To remove the board/PHW/IG it will take a change of ownership and that alone ( Wenger is a different subject because he could end up resigning and the existing board would be the ones tasked with finding a replacement !)
To get a change of ownership all been discussed million times but there are under 600 shareholders in total left and the quicker some of them can help by selling to Red & White, the better. Many believe it is pointless and irrelevant but they still want to buy more shares and find a way to nudge over the 30%- it does have a relevance.
I know that the 380 approx with 1 share will be reluctant to sell but there are many in the same family
There are 80 with 2, 32 with 3, 25 with 4, 18 with 5 , 14 with 6, 4 with 7 and 50 with 8 ( this is because of the 8 for 1 share split in 1991).
Once Red & White get to 30 % there is no need to buy further shares except Stans so if they then stopped buying the share price would fall considerably so if anyone knows anyone with shares please tell them to cash in now and help the cause.
but if you want Kroenke out and or the board out then who exactly do you want to choose from the FTSE 100 to buy the club then ?
all were so bloody clever on all the facts they knew about Kroenke before he bought and all were so ante Usmanov at the time.
What exactly do you want to know that the Forbes list, Times 100 and Wikepedia cant tell you.You cant expect a press release about how much he will reduce a pint of beer by.
If you put aside the arguments about how he acquired his initial wealth, he clearly knows how to run a business and create wealth and growth, and that appears and must be like all successful business by employing the right skills in each business, listening to the customers and understanding the business needs
I would hate our club to be owned by a scumbag oligarch
he makes abramovitch look like mary poppins
I can only urge the opposite to any shareholders
please never sell to him
we should campaign for a German model of mandatory 51% fan ownership
51 percent fan ownership Oh right like the fans are going to come up with 500 million quid or so ,10,000 pounds per season ticket holder give or take a few thousand !
Not sure that's feasible but Id like to see it !
Just to prove how far removed from the Arsenal Kroenke is......... 2 days after that pitiful display against Swansea he has probably made one of the biggest PR cock-ups he could of made. Just in case you dont know the useless wanker has rubbed our noses in it by spunking 80 million on a fucking ranch! Perhaps he decided he couldn't trust Wenger with it so he wasted it on an overgrown farm instead.

What does that make Hill-Wood then who happily sold up to him?
