As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm out and proud - all the while he saves us from the world recession and the end of the world of finishing 5th or lower, I shall remain eternally grateful. How he manages all these virtual trophies on the shoestring budget he has with only £3m per home game in gate receipts coming in is beyond me. Everyone else can go fuck themselves and support Spurs, and with all their moaning about the lack of new signings they should have a look at what's happened at Fratton Park where it just goes to show what it does to a club that invests 20% of its free cash flow in players rather than have it sitting in a bank earning the lowest rate of interest in the 300+ year history of the Bank of England.
I only hope that the man who has worked in football for 30 years, goes on to make it 40 years, selflessly giving up his life for the pittance of 8m a year plus bonus.
Arsene doesn't sign millionaires......he makes them.
I was fully convinced he was off but reading all the shite you lot keep posting is poisoning my mind. I'm taking a break from on here for a few days to regain my sanity.

SSN Pelligrini (sp?) in interview has agreed what Wenger says about one player playing half of one season for one team and the other half for a different team in the same league.
I guess he is also a useless whinging manager too I actually think he comes across as a top man and never heard him whinge before as he always seems dignified, guess he feels strongly about this too.

Anyway, just saying.
I hope we buy Suarez this month
In some ways his whinging is worse than wenkers - he has the money to buy almost any player he wants so to talk about unfair systems is a bit hypocritical imo

Where's Ted ffs
Surely it's only hypocritical if he buys another player from the PL this month, it has nothing to do with how much money he has at his disposal
In the words of your love child, "poor, very poor"

Isn't what Pellegrini said different though? We all know Wenger is opposed to the Jan transfer window and tbh he has some valid reasons - and I don't disagree with the fact that a player shouldn't play for two teams in the same league in the same season.
But Wenger couldn't stop there and started moaning about how Chavs had already played United twice and yet again it's all some conspiracy against little old self-sustaining Arsenal - as though that was a major reason for Chavs letting a quality player go and as if it's some cruel loophole.
I also saw Mourinho's response - the bit about our favourable scheduling was nonsense but the bit about Wenger always complaining is spot on. Mourinho knows just how to piss Wenger off - like with his 'voyeur' comments during his first stint - and he knows that the more he winds him up the more obstinate Wenger will become and the more stubborn he will become in his insistence that we won't throw money around on transfers and we won't negatively adjust our tactics when we play them.

Yes....he didn't start every one of his sentences with "overall, I believe that"
