Agreed - but I think his reputation precedes him now, and some people pick on him a little. (although his feud with Gusher is a little oddQuartzGooner wrote:After a "Copy and Paste" start on the Forum, Calo has now made some decent posts recently.

I know he has a unique way of getting his message across - that seems to irritate - but I think most of his posts are ok.. and always seem to provoke responses, and a talking point... so he must be doing something right!

There's no problem in having an opinion fella. If it helps, my policy is to leave it a full 24 hours after watching a game like the Stoke one. I was sorely tempted to come on here last night and set up some very angry threads, but I think giving it time balances it up a bit.
There's a lot of valid points on here from both sides of the equation.
I started watching Arsenal in the early 80s under O'Neill and then Howe and I can certainly relate to the boys who say we are spoilt today. When you've witnessed York and Wrexham first hand you are grateful for any progress !!
However, what really frustrates me (and I think anyone) is a sense of going backwards. Last season was superb - so close, so unlucky, so breathtaking. The annoyance comes from the fact that we have definitely gone backwards from there. How we could fail to add (properly) to the centre of defence, let Lehmann go with no additional GK, and let Diarra, Flam and Gilberto leave in a year with no replacement is baffling. I love Arsene's youth policy but I do think it is equally becoming a 'blind spot' with regard to taking the club one level higher still......

I just find it odd how he can type correctly one day and then change dramatically and start typing like a 5 year old. Gets on my nerves

Very good post SteveO. Very balanced. I too usually wait a day or two to calm down after a disaster otherwise I'd be fucking hated and banned from here!!SteveO 35 wrote:There's no problem in having an opinion fella. I particularly agree with the paragraph I've bolded above; we have gone backwards, while all our main rivals have progressed and gone forward.
