I thought Arbeloa was spanish? I loved how Van Persie and Adebayor stayed on their feet so well.

we were shit up untill the sending off the possession % 10 minutes into the 2nd half was 72 to 28 in favour of liverpool!!

10 minutes after the sending off it was 54 to 46 in favour of arsenal

thought denilson was superb in centre mid especially after ades red, really battled well as did the rest of the team , probably a good point taking all things into account

It doesn't matter that he dived. Adebayor went over the ball the first time...yellow card. He stupidly did it again and got sent off. Mate, the red card ruined the game for us because we were playing well, as soon as it happened we looked lost like playing at home when a team parks the bus.

why are you here?

Disappointed, we needed to get six out of six to get ahead of Villa but now can only go level. We took the lead, we conceded a stupid goal and struggled after that, we pushed Song into attacking midfield, Van Persie and Sagna lost their heads a little, Diaby looked out of it, we lost Cesc and Ade for a few games at least.

None the less once we had Ade harshly sent off, we suddenly seemed to tighten up at the back and fight for it, my question is why our defense couldn't do that in 11vs11? I should be pleased but being three points behind Villa and 8 behind Liverpool keeps being in front of me

Ade went over the top on both yellow cards, and even if he was a tad unlucky, they were pretty awful tackles
- probably not a 2nd yellow, but I wasn't overly suprised.

If this was a NORMAL season, 1-1 v Liverpool would be ok, but...

Our players ONLY raise themselves for the big games, so they become must win games, and regardless of the circumstances, we DIDN'T WIN.... AGAIN.

We've slipped firmly into 5th now, and despite Wenger's insistance that we've turned a corner, we've now dropped 4 points in the last 2 games... 2 games where we were 1-0 up!

On the whole, we played ok and played with intensity, but Djourou handed Liverpool an equaliser and the amount of individual errors that have cost us over the last season or 2 are mind boggling... but when you have young, raw players in key positions, then mistakes will happed.. it's part of growing up.

I'm frustrated, but what can you do? move on to Villa Park, and hope we can turn yet another corner, and get back to winning ways.

Deja f*ckin' Vu

But well played to the lads... they battled hard.

I haven't seen either booking on the telly yet but that is what it looked like to me as well.

However the referee did lose the plot afterwards. And why Gerrard didn't get booked is a bit of a mystery to me. But I suppose he's English, and English players don't cheat do they. He must have had a spasm.

Perversely as has been said we were much better following the sending off and every Arsenal player lifted their game. It's just frustrating it took something like that for them to do so. Mind you Friday will be tough without Fabregas and Adebayor so maybe the same backs to the wall mentality will get us a result.

By the way is it just me, or was that one of the best atmosphere we have had at the new stadium?

Just got in. Normal frustration. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: if Ade hadn't been sent off we would have lost that game. Not joking. We couldn't be bothered after we scored. I don't know if it came across on the telly but the crowd was incredibly fired up after the sending off. pretty much willed the team to survive.

Fuck off mate. We had one of your lot in our section today - ejected for jumping up and down when an ex-Scummer equalised. Brainless as usual. Your lot deserve all the hatred they get from the rest of the country.

Your banner might say "We Haven't Forgotten Them". Yeah and the rest of us have not forgotten your bunch of scum who got us all banned from Europe for years. And before you respond with the tried and tested "they were not Liverpool fans" response, go fuck yourself
