SPU*S THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm warming to the idea (just this once on an emergency basis) of Kolo being placed in midfield to provide some muscle & energy tomorrow.

Anybody else worried that an unfit Arshavin might be on the bench. Of course he could come on in the 70th minute and score a solo hatrick thus ensuring his legend status from day one, but given our luck it is more likely he would get injured in the 71st and be out for the rest of the season. :? :(

i think its an overreaction how un-fit he is...he has been training with Zenit while he was waiting and its not like we are asking him to run a marathon and climb a mountain...just play afew min of football which he has done for almost all his life, he can't be that bad missing a week or two of training lol. (and better than song, eboue and denilson if they didn't sleep and trained 24/7 for the whole of their lives)

This is the NLD. He's never played in the Prem before and he hasn't played a proper game since November. We're not asking him to take part in kick about on Hackney marshes.
