IHH No one was insinuating that you and ECD were Bum Chums (to use the modern vernacular) bu rather that you were one and the same, only using two different usernames. hope that helps clear things up.

As a younger man, I worked in construction and did a stint as a ceiling fitter in London in 1991. One of the brickies, "Bricky Joe" (an old geezer from Toon town) was introduced to me and he asked me if I knew "Sean". No surname. Just "Sean".

I thought he was taking the p*ss with one of the new guys (me) like they do on the sites (go for the long weight, get the stripey paint etc

) but no. He was actually asking me if I knew a guy in Ireland called Sean!!

"He's Irish, like you, son," he said in all sincerity.

I didn't have the heart to point out the INSANITY

of what he said in front of his crew. And I'm glad I didn't. As I got to know him over the coming months, Old Joe turned out to be a proper old school gent, a really decent bloke.
