CHAVS V BARCA

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm so happy. Chippy Jnr said I celebrated the Barca goal as if we had won the CL.

I said to him as we were getting more frustrted wouldn't it be great if Barca scored in injury time so they have got not time to score. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I noticed that, I thought there were some excellent close ups of crying chavs towards the end.

I'm majorly fucked off with Arsenal, but I'd rather know we are a shit team 11 minutes into the game, rather than playing 92 minutes convinced we were on our way, then have it cruelly snatched away

The pub I was watching the game in was largely full of Chav fans so I had to keep my thoughts to myself at times but what a glorious moment when Iniesta's goal went in! The pub just went completely silent! Good job I was sitting near the front so they couldn't see the size of the grin on my face!

I was as happy as anyone else when Barca scored, and the disgraceful display by the Chav players after the whistle, whilst understandable, was totally unacceptable.
Now, I'm not Cashley fan by any stretch of the imagination but at least it looks like he has retained some of his Arsenal training. He did at least behave properly whilst others around him were losing their heads.

Iniesta’s technique for that shot was something else! To let the ball run across him, not get a rush of blood in the circumstances & try to hit the ball too hard but instead pick his spot & cut across the ball with the outside of his foot to put it there! Class! And maybe a few of our lot could do with learning from Messi how to tee a player up for a shot properly! Iniesta barely had to adjust his feet to take the strike.

Honestly I cant see Barca making a bid for Cesc this summer with him & Xavi already there. Not one big enough to tempt even us to accept anyway. And Cesc would be silly in a WC year to go there cos he’d be behind both those 2 keeping Hleb company on the bench. I can however see Barca maybe going for Essien - or perhaps that’s just wishful thinking on my part!
