ROSETINTERS COME OUT FROM YOUR HIDING PLACES

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Any particular reason you're picking on me rather than the other even more miserable bastards?

I'm struggling to see the bit about players coming back from injuries from you. They will help, undoubtedly. However they don't address the fundamental problems down the spine of the team, they can gloss over them at best, although one of Nasri and Rosicky instead of Denilson is a fucking godsend.

I think you'll find I am looking forward. I'm assessing our squad, not talking about the game just gone specifically. And I see a squad with some very talented players and a couple of world class ones but one which is miles too thin on quality and miles too flaky to win trophies.

Yea man but can't you just pretend that everything is perfick..just close your eyes and keep repeating 'We beat Everton 6-1' 'We beat Everton 6-1' 'We beat Everton 6-1' and then everything will be OK ....if you have something to write about the Everton game be my guest...but please no more of this 'assessing our squad' or faults nonsense...

What are you on about?

All my recent posts have been on the negative side of the divide. I am assessing our squad and I find it has fundamental weaknesses despite some talented creative players. Did you mean to reply to my post or Ramon's?

I only saw the highlights today so that is why I didn't post to explain how this is all part of Wenger's masterplan!

Two defeats in a row, against opposition we wanted to pick up wins to show we can battle the big boys. It isn't good but only at the end of the season will either the rose tinters or the doom and gloom merchants will be proven right. It was great to see Rosicky back and going forward, we seem to have enough, not only 4 away goals in two games but the things that didn't fall away, we have an edge at least.

The Man U game came from our big game bottling keeper (which along with Senderos's erratic mental state plus no dm depth is my big worry) and an own goal, annoying but happens I guess. What worries me far more is the four goals conceded, our once potentially strong looking backline left Ade unmarked for the 3rd for slips sake!

We need our back 4 to keep calm and play well again, we need to win in the league and get at least a point in CL game, not too worried about performance if we get that but we need to pick up results again

come the end of season will be squeaky bum time for roseinters, realists and wenger alike. im confident, unfortunately, that it will be us realists who will be proved correct.
i await aw's excuses and the rosetinters.

for me this season was a writeoff in terms of cl/title (ie not scrapping for 4th) when the transfer window 'slammed' shut, and its desperately frustrating and difficult to be positive about the same lot who have failed for the last few seasons and shown their not good enough.

as used to be stated if 4th place was missed out, it could bring the changes needed at the club (no one can deny its gone stale, it smacks of th dying days of the GG era (would the board have sacked him had he not been caught with the brown envelope))however it would definetely lead to our better players leaving, and could fuck us up financially unless we were to get sausage fingers in (heres hoping)

Get it now. 8) Read it first time as 'you can't' rather than 'can't you'. I'm just seeing things rather than being stupid.

Amazing how getting things the wrong way round makes such a big difference. Bit like the difference between Arsenal 2-1 Mancs and Arsenal 1-2 Mancs.

Here's to the former at the Emirates. :barscarf:

If I do that it means you have to pay me £10,100. I'll need to see a bank statement showing you can cover those kinds of losses first.

Or I could give you a fiver if we finish top 4 and you could give me a score if we don't. :?:

deal.
Shook on. So that's you and DB10 who I need to collect from come season end.
