The "little club" Charter

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As most, if not all the sides that sing this are from North of the Watford Gap, I don't know why our boys don't respond with:

Same old (insert name of club, in this case City)
Shit Nor-thern scum,
Same old City
Shit Nor-thern scum.

(repeat ad nauseam)

8)

Fucking small club crunts.
Highest ever attendance 55,109 at Boothferry Park

This was the largest attendence at the new Anlaby Circle ground, as there has been a little re-configuation of seats and an agreement with Humberside plot to reduce the sterile area between home and away supporters.

Do try to pay attention.

It also would seem that 25,000 people were actually in the ground until at the Emirates where the attendance is 60,040 even when half full.

To be fair Hull know themselves their a relatively small club. I think it would be harsh to accuse them of thinking otherwise.

To be fair though If you look at the fans that chant this stuff you will notice that the atmosphere is best at those grounds. Maybe I was mistaken, but didn't I hear the Emirates belting out "Who are ya?" to the Porto team when they were getting beat?

No. Reason being that he has given too much and for us to sack him after one bad season is a bit silly. He is getting the brunt of 20 years without a league title and the fact that we might be overtaken as the most successful team in Britain in a good few years. If things don't change next season however then it would be time for him to go imo. The fact that we have the 2 biggest clowns owning the club in it's history doesn't help things either. Anyway, what about the Gooners chanting "Who are ya?" towards the Porto team, isn't that the same team that has won the European Cup 2 times, the league title 24 times and the UEFA cup once? And you guys are asking who they are?

Of course it's good to have a European Cup/UEFA Champions League but some team's that won it were lucky in that their club was going through a great era in their history at the time. Real Madrid are a perfect example (their early triumph's)

What if there hadnt have been a European Cup to win in the 70's/80's for Liverpool? What if you lot hadnt got our '89 team banned from Europe? When we dominated English football and won every game of our European tour's there was no European Cup for us to win.

i sometimes wonder how different things would be at arsenal had there been a european cup in the 30s...

as for the 'ooo are ya', i think it has grown out of the small club charter in recent years with teams coming along to ours, scoring early and giving it to us. in effect it started off being used ironically and has unfortunately stuck.
