I really do believe we can get the lad, I heard about an interview he gave in the summer where he stated as a boy he loved watching Arsenal play and that he loved the way Arsenal approached matches. He came across as a football purest and when our lot play in the manner we all love that has to be a good thing.
Dzeko..i do feel we can get him.

The good thing is, Wenger will do exactly what's needed.............to stop all this bickering about who is or isn't good enough..............he won't sign anyone. Guaranteed.

As I mentioned earlier, ManUre are bound to be in race for Dzeko, and here's proof

Aguess pulling out of £9 million deal for Serbian striker + sale of Nani would raise cash for Dzeko's purcase...which makes me wonder WHY can't we count on £23 million raised by sale of Greedybayor?

Because that money has already spent improving the contracts of Bendtner, Diaby, Song etc

If Arshavin continues to play the striker role with any level of success, then that will allow Wenger to avoid buying anyone in January.

Yup, he has no choice but to play him there now and he will do well in the next few weeks so that will justify the fact that he may not need to buy as Bendtner will be back soon and he won't want to kill him.

mIroslav Klose is the man arsene should go for, bags of experience and at 31 still has a few years left in him

At the risk of souring the atmosphere still further, we could (SHOULD) have signed Huntelaar in the summer, as well as another centre back.
But another ship passes us in the night.............'sigh'.............

I don´t think so.
He is past his prime imo.
If I had one wish AW would sign a young world class goalkeeper. Akinfeev or Adler.

Huntelaar is rumoured to be on the move in Jan as Milan don't really want him. However, I mostly believe the suggestion of Wenger going for Bojan Krkic at Barca...........5 feet 7 tall and 19 years old, Wenger will be creaming his pants!

Wenger said that the player should not be cup-tied. Surely that takes care of about 90% of all the names here (Dzeko, Klose, Bojan(?)...)

For me Carlton Cole is THE option. For anyone dismissing him I think people should watch him play, and also not be so dismissive just because he plays for a team lower than us. Bear in mind we signed ian wright from Crystal Palace!
Strong, quick and a good finisher he has all the attributes to be top top draw. He is injured as well atm so he'll fit in with the current arsenal trend! But a fit Carlton Cole for me is primed for Arsenal, no time to settle in, not cup tied either.

A quick reminder...The criteria:
**Free
**World-class
**Not cup-tied
**Small
