ADEBAYOUR IN ARSENAL TOP (TODAY)????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I sort of feel a bit sorry for the shite fans cos they didn't what they were getting when they signed him.FFS he's a City player now, what the fucks he doing wearing our badge!

........

OOTA, I assume the word missing is 'know' what they were getting.... anyway, reading through the BlueMoon citeh thread yesterday, there are several posts that point out quite correctly, that Arsenal fans were saying, that he was greedy, lazy... etc.... The phrase ''chickens coming home to roost'' does spring readily to mind where this Greedy, *word censored* is concerned.

Because Terry and Barton wouldnt take their PR man/agent on a drunken night out. They would probably take them to an international press conference though.

Why is it not rational because its him? Because this is a man who is more concerned with goading his old fans than celebrating with his new ones; who is happy to risk letting his new team down by getting suspended for an irrational stamp; who will tell the press 'I'm sorry for what i did in the city game' one minute then mock the celebration and say its arsenal's fault for kicking him out and for the abuse the next; someone who will give 2 interviews in the space of an hour saying he is staying at arsenal and then that he isnt; someone who will talk up a move all summer and then pretend his phone has been turned off, someone who's stories constantly contradict both himself and others...

Yes, the man is badly advised. Yes, he's a bit thick. Yes, I've no doubt he has been through something horrible which i wouldnt wish on him. But I can't believe all his clothes were shot to pieces and all the multi-millionaire had left to wear was an arsenal t-shirt as you're suggesting...even if it was, make a little point that you're only wearing it because you've nothing else.
You have seen Terry's latest bout of ego to the press right? Actually, Ferguson could do with hiring one right now

If the fans can't take it, they shouldn't give it out. I hated his stamps and his behaviour has rarely been honourable in regards the transfer, I agree. I don't think Arsenal fans are quite as saintly and wronged as we like to portray ourselves as in this case either or that Ade is quite deserving of all the hate mind.

Why would he be so self absorbed as to talk about his clothing? Maybe his mind was on the future of the Togo team, of his team mates, of what happened, of the dead and those in hospital rather then a tiny thing like a shirt

It doesn't really bother me that he wore an Arsenal top, I'd be bloody livid if I was a City fan though. As someone said earlier could you imagine how pissed off you would be if you saw Gallas in a chav top!

I think it does raise alot of questions about what's going on in the tossers mind though. I cannot believe that he had no other clothes, even if the CSI's had taken the bus and everything on it surely he could have begged, borrowed or stole a t-shirt somewhere. He wore that top for a reason, I haven't a clue what that reason is though, only he knows that.

It certainly won't R.G. I just hope he gets selected that day as I reckon it could be one of the best atmospheres ever at the new ground that day.

I hope Paddy plays as well.... the contrast in the way they're both treated at the Grove will be very obvious even for a dumb f*cker like Ade!

An all time legend and an all time *word censored* on the same pitch at the same time.... can't wait! :barscarf:

Man that gave me a real good laugh. 74 Pages on the Blue moon forums and all the citeh fans are turning against each other!

Ade sure can get the fans talking, even when he's not in this country :?

In SSN in a City shirt now. Said he didn't realise - had just borrowed it off his brother because he left all his clothes on the bus. Fair enough. Still wearing a big diamond necklace though, notice that got out ok

I like the sound of this brother :barscarf:
