Juventus will offer Arsenal Italian national team goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and midfielder Felipe Melo in return for winger Robin van Persie

Please, please says its true!!!

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

for RVP... Hmmm...
Juve are really trying to re-build.
Not the first time I've heard about Buffon going.
Heard that he was being offered to Mancini of Citeh as he's a big fan. What that does to Given or even Hart!

Still why would we won't to replace a Clown with a Bafoon!

I think some very knowledgable guy suggested it on here the other day - wonder who that was  8)

I think he is better than Lloris, shame his price will also rocket if he ends up as German no.1 for the world cup. Either ways, he is a must buy.

p.s he is a beast for me on FM2010 :D

I just don't get the hope-w*nking over Melo? And whilst Buffon is one of the world's best I don't see why we should exchange one of our best players for them.
It's not like AW will go out and get Torres, Dzeko or even Remy is it?

We can get a world class keeper without going that route. And as for Melo, he's just over-rated. Can't see him being the deciding factor or driving force in any quest for any thing.

But please, hope-w*nk away...

Because Melo is a great player who'd improve our midfield considerably.

I must admit I haven't seen a lot of Melo - not enough to judge him - but what I've seen he just looks a petulant wannabe defensive midfielder. Of the four-five times I've seen Juve this season I haven't seen him have a good game, and he was totally ineffective in both legs against Fulham in the Europa League.

in wenger's press conference he said anything in the papers so far is all lies, so this thread might as well be deleted or started again
