No actually. Indeed you are defending frankly people who want it both ways.QuartzGooner wrote:There are tons of threads on here that I read but do not comment onUSMartin wrote:
As i say just as people like to remind they have the right to disagree with me which they certainly do, they also have the right to ignore me or the threads I open or not comment to me on my views at all.
The thing is, with your threads, you have come onto a Forum and started multiple threads, and posted multiple times on existing threads.
On one subject.
If someone is pushing a certain subjective view, on the same subject, so intensely and so often, and an important subject at that, then people are not going to ignore it or let it go unchallenged.
The number of threads is irrelevnt and if anything would inspire a response more akin to the boy who cried wolf which is fact to say the threads would be ignored altogether if they simply tired of the subject matter. After all as you yourself acknowledge you don't have tto read anything you don't want to.
If for example and I'm tempting fate now - but some opened a "USMartin is a Twat" thread I would be totally at fault if I opened and read it and no one else. Even if they opened 100 such threads (Do NOT blame me if they do Mods just basement them or whatever). it wouldn't matter I would still have chosen to open a thread I knew would upset and offend me - or was intended to do so and choose to address it. I could not blame anyone else for that nor would I. Did I have a huge go at you about your poll? No. I opened it and saw it was not harmful - but even if it was, it was my fault if I was angered after opening it because I didn't have to.
The reason it is confronted every time isn't that its boring - no one has to read it. Its sheer opposition to posting those ideas and a desire to censor them but censors portraying themselves as the victims because then its easier to justify.
