I'd be more concerned by the inclusion of Denilson, esp if it's at the expense of Nasri or Song.
I think that if we include Denilson we concede more goals, if we include Bendtner we score less goals.

It's whichever you think is the greater of two evils.

So basically we're fucked if either of them play

just don't understand wenger's thinking on denilson, he is not a DM, he may as well play vela there, they have about the same defensive qualities, if anything vela is faster!! It makes me angry when i see people run past him after the stoke cup game he should NEVER have played again even if we had to promote younger players.

I bet if we sold him, another team would play him behind the strikers and he'd be really good. :banghead:

[quote]Wenger – The snow helped Leeds

The number of upsets in this season’s FA Cup was, in part, due to the snow that swept across Britain before Christmas, according to Arsène Wenger.

The Third Round produced a number of eye-catching results with Arsenal needing a last-gasp Cesc Fabregas penalty to spare their blushes against Leeds while West Brom, Newcastle, Sunderland and Blackpool all succumb to lower League opposition.

Wenger wasn’t surprised.

Football League fixtures were heavily disrupted in December with the adverse weather conditions forcing the postponement of a host of fixtures over a three-week period. However, there was no let up for Premier League teams over the notoriously busy festive schedule and this respite, the Arsenal manager feels, goes some way to explaining why there were so many shocks.

“[There was] relative rest for the Championship teams because many games were cancelled for themâ€

There's a poster 'kayasurf' posting on the ticket thread looking for a match ticket for tonight. He is currently in Leeds, if any of you can help give him a PM.

I've dealt with kayasurf before and he is trustworthy.

With Huddersfield at home in the next round I'll be so disappointed if we don't field a strong team tonight. We can't bang on about how young our squad is only to rest them like they are old men! RvP and Theo really haven't played all that many games in the last 6 months so the idea of season long burn out doesn't wash with me and surely they are fit enough to play every 3 days even if they only play 70 mins each time with 15 mins rest in the middle! Plus couldn't they not just not train in between?! It is the defence that needs drill training for tonight, Theo and RvP aren't going to learn anything new about their jobs in a couple of sessions

All this not mentioning the fact that if we'd have done the job the first time round they could all put their feet up tonight!

I'd like to see (being realistic)

----------Schezza------------

Sagna---Kos---Djo-------Gibbs

---Fab4----Song---Ramsey-----

---Theo-----RvP------AA23-----

Bench:

Rosicky
Jack W
Nick B
Chamack
Clichy
Almunia (because he is not injured)
Nasri

Ideally get the job done then Rosicky on for Fab4, or if struggling, Nasri on for AA23, Jack on for Ramsey, Chamack on for Song if we get to the last 10 mins and need a goal

I have a feeling nasri will start tonight. I hope he does. He's the sort of player who can really go at em and nick an early goal. If we get that then it opens up the game to suit us when they have to attack us.
