In my opinion, there's less chance of a woman being a 'fan' of a particular team than a man so I think women would be more impartial than some of the outright 'cheats' we see officiating games these days. Some people say refs are inconsistent, they are but I genuinely believe that most officials would give a 50/50 decision in favor of 'their' team, or against their teams rivals.

TBH I think this has all been blown out of proportion and as stated by an earlier poster, a minority with an agenda has jumped on the bandwagon and unfortunately in this case has prevailed.

He is one of the best pundits out there and now we'll have the wishy-washy crap from the likes of Le-Tissier, Redkunt or some other washed up has-been.

He was a twat for what he said but for anyone to lose their job in what is clearly a stich-up leaves a bitter taste.

Apparently he refused to apologise. Keys rang her up and apologised so I'm assuming he'll keep the job.

Why didn't he just say sorry, what he said was wrong just admit it.

Take a P45 son

Knew the game well but IMO he's a stale presenter with stale outdated opinions, formed as a result of 2 decades in the job with no pressure on him. Not to mention that he plays right into the hands of the Sky hype/hysteria machine with his bumming of Manure/Liverpool/Big Sam/"Proper English" football.

It was time for a change at Sky.

And now the Lino has pulled out of her game tonight!

Will this be becuase:

She feels she'll be the target of abuse?

She will feel the pressure is too much

She's off to London for a photo shoot in Nuts magazine?

This has been blown so far out of proportion it makes me wonder what the game has come to.
