New Kit, Any Pics?

Incorrect

"Forward" pre-dates "Victoria Concordia Crescit"
Didnt know that!!!

Why cant they put Victoria Concordia Crescit on our kit for the season then?
I can only assume that "Forward" has been brought back to act as a traning aid for Denilson..

"What way am i meant to pass this round thing again...."

**looks down at club crest***

"Oh yes, i have to pass it Forward"

I hope each player sports their own motto to be honest. Dare i say Arshavin's will say "You're coming off on 70 mins, regardless"

The home shirt is the best we've had since 82 (in my opinion the best home shirt of them all with the Red V neck collar).

Forward was indeed the first motto and Bernard Joy used it in his book 'Forward Arsenal' so no complaints there for a one off .

I think the current shirt badge is awful but I do think the all white version is better and fits in really well with the simple red/white shirt design.

Lets face it the current badge looks like its been designed by a dissaffected infantile art student and bears no resemblance to the old classic cannon and 3 cannon balls crest.

I have already ordered the Home shirt with PROPER CLUB
86

on the back.

As for the away shirt..... well I'll stick to my Green and blue classic!!!!!

Nike are the worst kit manufacturers around. They use too many generic designs for too many clubs, they ignore club traditions and the quality is shit. Bring back Adidas.

Of course the club are just as guilty of ignoring club traditions - whilst Nike design the kit the club choose the final one from 4 or 5 designs that Nike offer them.

Why is it so fucking hard for this board to just stick with Red with white sleeves for home and yellow and blue for away?
To be fair Reb Adidas have given Liverpool and Chelsea some shit kits the past few years coupled with the wanky crests aswell.
I'm not Reb, you spaztard!

This point always interests me. For the record they are the club colours that I would like us to keep too, but has age got something to do with this?

I'm guessing that these were the colours that The Arsenal were wearing when you started watching DB10? Therefore in your opinion they are the club colours. Every time there is mention of a new kit we always get calls for these colours and comment along the lines of "fuck blue/white shirts, our colours are......." But, the fact is that through the years we did have white/blue/redcurrant etc. shirts at some stage.

I wonder in years to come when the young lads who are starting to watch us now be calling for a return to the white away shirt? I hope not.

By the way that blue thing is awful :ewwwww:

Certainly it influences me, RG - but I would also add that they were our colours for probably the longest time (?) and are associated with great modern Arsenal teams and players and iconic photos (Sunderland peeling away screaming his head off after scoring against the manc filthy in 79 FA cup final is a perfect example). For the majority of active match going fans that are alive today these would be the colours we associate with Arsenal.

The bit in bold is my reason for wanting those colours too. I'd hate to think that when I'm older I'll be listening to little fuckers pineing for the days when we wore white away shirts :worried:

Looking at the two shirts for the second time after seeing them last night, the away shirt definetly looks just as bad as when I first saw it, if not worse.

The home shirt is different though. Red collar looks good, its got the white sleeves and the white outline of the badge isn't too bad compared to the usual crest which looks like some nursery kids have got the crayons out.

As for the 'Forward' motto. Was annoyed with it at first but if its only a one off for the anniversary then thats ok. If we are still using 'Forward' for the 12/13 season then that would be a problem.
