I notice the club hasn't yet officially told me. :? Will we get an email or a letter in the post?

Maybe if everyone holds off it might panic the club.
I was hoping that most people would hold off but when I went to log on earlier to check the prices and finance options they were offering I was stuck in a queue. Hoping it was from people ordering Fulham tickets and not the prawn sandwich JCL's renewing as soon as they had the opportunity. Also noticed that mine has gone up from around 900 last year to 985???
From £925 to £985.
That would work out right as the club owed me money to come off at the start of the season. Wish I'd used the Ticket Exchnge this year - namely Tottenham, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City, Sunderland, Blackburn.... :(

Of corse i have bad things to say about the club, i think i have a softer opinion on this matter because for me the increase is only £2 per game and thankfully i can afford this. I just really hope the club do invest in 1 or 2 world class players this summer and show us where all this revenue is going. Its only our 2nd rise in 6 years i think? Realistically every type of business is struggling and having to make adjustments at this time, and unfortuantly the majority of football clubs are more than just football clubs now, there is nothing we can do to change that, and if we want to carry on competing we have to move with the times.

I will only be very annoyed if we do not see any evidence of signings in the summer

My season ticket would appear to have increased to £985, but what can I do? The club have got me and they know it.

I will be making small and largely insignificant protests such as withholding my money until the deadline etc, but thats about all I've got!

Tell them you've found 'another' football club which is offering season ticket's much cheaper. They might put you though to a special 'non-renewals' team.

It works with Mobiles and Satelite TV.

Utd have increased their tickets prices too - by £1 per game.

As much as I hate Utd they have to be applauded for this. Also their top ST price is under 1k.

Applauded? Why? This isn't the first time they've increased ticket prices in the last few years and I think they have also introduced cup matches.....

The only reason that they don't now charge as much as Arsenal is that they are based in Manchester not London! Nothing to do with the generousity of Glazer and co......

You may have a point about being in Manchester! I guess my point was that most fans could probably take the hit of £1 per game increase.

Reading the BBC article it looks like they just charge for league season tickets and don't include cup matches.

Members will also receive a membership renewal pack in the post over the coming days which include two financial offers to assist you with the financing of your season ticket.
What are these then?

Whilst financially an extra £1 per game is probably affordable for most people, it's the principle of the whole thing that stinks. "Sure it's only a pound" you say, "I don't mind". Then it goes up by £1 again another year or two down the line, then maybe another pound or two a few years later & before you know it prices have gone up by £10/£15.

There is absolutely no justification for the cost of match tickets in this country, particularly bearing in mind the treatment of fans at games.

Maybe Arsenal should have increased prices by 1% each season then instead of hitting us with 4.3% (plus the VAT increase) in one hit..... !

I may be wrong re-Utd cup games. But thought they introduced them, along with a price rise, when the Glazers took over. Maybe it was reversed? Anyone else remember this?

To answer my own question, just found this;
Representative example: Cash price of ticket £2770 = total amount of credit £2770. Repayable by 10 monthly instalments of £296.32. Rate of interest is 1.245% per month (fixed) Total amount repayable £2963.20. Representative APR 15.9%.

They have to either drop their prices or leave them the same to hang on to their existing customers.

Our lot increase prices and bring out another new jersey for us all to buy that will last for one year :banghead:

I wouldn't mind if they reinvested the cash in players but they won't.

I love our club but I hate the *word censored* who run it.

You could probably get a far cheaper Charlton FC season ticket.
