Benfica would be seeded if they win so we couldn't draw them. My top 3 (in terms of an away trip) would be:
1. Panathanaikos
2. Udinese
3. FC Twente

If we draw FC Twente, we possibly won't play the away leg in Enschede because of the roof collapsing. Twente have confirmed that their first home game in the CL qualifiers (against FC Vaslui) will be played in Arnhem.

First legs of the 3rd Qualifying Round are over. The ties we're interested in are below;

Dynamo Kyiv 0-2 Rubin Kazan
FC Twente 2-0 Vaslui
Odense BK 1-1 Panathinaikos
Standard Liege 1-1 FC Zurich
Benfica 2-0 Trabzonspor

So can we play who ever wins these matches Dan?

Rubin Kazan would be tasty! Went to Zagreb back in '06 and that was as hostile a football match I've been to, would be interesting to see how Kazan compare

Would be a real blessing if we didnt....the board would be forced to re evaluate its money making machine with no CL money.......

If it means Wenger leaving I'm all for it. Not like we're ever gonna win the CL under that myopic fuck anyway, it's merely a distraction for us.

Almost I think. Although there are certain situations where the seeding of the teams could be changed if, for example, Trabzonspor turn it around against Benfica. It's kinda complicated & will be made clearer next week after the second legs but realistically it'll be either Dynamo, Rubin, Twente, Panathinaikos, Liege or Zurich.

It'd take more than missing the CL to get Wenger canned. We'd have to miss the CL this season then finish like 6th I'd say, and even then it'd be a maybe.

Yes. It would take years of us, utd, chelsea & Liverpool doing poorly in the competition or not qualifying at all for us to become unseeded.

I thought there was a set of circumstances going into the semi's this year that if it happened - we would not be top seeds in the group :?:
