OFFICIAL ARSENAL V OLYMPIACOS THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Defenders utterly absent, that should have easily been intercepted. Poor concede and if we continue to show our typical frailty at the back we will throw this away too. :banghead:

So much for all the supposed extra work done on defending. That was pathetic. :banghead:

That was arshavin who just let the guy go, but at the same time this is why zonal marking is utter shite.

Arshavin thinks well he's running out of my zone so I don't need to pick him up anymore, but the trouble is everyone else is ballwatching and the guy has a free header. If it was man-marking, maybe Arshavin would have stuck a little more close to the guy.

Absolute shit defending.

Whatever about tonight, I'm now absolutely shitting it for Sunday. With our totally inept "defence" we could cconcede a bucket load to the swamp dwellers :banghead:

Going forward Arshavin was the guy who lofted a lovely pass over the defence to Chamakh who then fluffed his lines.
