Mackems footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

we in trouble folks, i can see Sunderland nicking it - we always give teams chances and with out RVP i can't see anyone else scoring for us

we are relegation fodder folks, this could be a very bad season and yes we are good enough to go down

I still think we have another goal in us but I agree, Sunderland could easily win this, our defence is so fragile, it can't cope with any pressure put on it. If it weren't for Chesney we'd probably be behind.

Makes you wonder where we'd be this season if we had either the Clown or Flappy in goal!

not too many people on this forum believe this, i agree though. wake up people. blackburn and sunderland are relegation type teams, and look better than we do WAKE UP.

i thought we would be ok, but not to sure - the team collapses when we concede a goal and we lack creativity in the midfield - comes to something when Song is our creative midfielder

Arteta is looking a fairly average signing - and isn't in the same class as Nasri or Cesc

I'm sorry but does song actually have a brain cell?

The guy is going absoultely nowhere, but Song still decides to trip him up, get himself a silly booking and give Sunderland a chance to launch the ball into our box.

Complete fucking numpty

Wenger looks a nervous wreck sitting there on the bench fiddling with some elastic band or something, twitching his leg up and down.

So we have an U21, the only player with a bit of confidence in our squad, who has scored in both of his arsenal games so far and had an U21 hat trick a couple of weeks back, not even in the squad.

And we have another international striker who has scored 6 goals in 4 games for his country who is on the bench but has still not been brought on.

Even though it's 1-1 at home to one of the worst sides in the Prem.

It's absolutely fucking embarrasing.
