Chelsea away - Official Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes mate Victoria Wetherspoons. Above WHSmith's. Inbox me your number, I'll be drinking with a load off here, you should join us for a few if you want
Anybody getting the overground down? If so we'll be in the Wetherspoons at Shepherds Bush before the game.

From the Chavs' website:

DAYS SINCE
Chelsea dropped points at home: 167
Arsenal won a point away from home: 77
Arsenal won a trophy: 2,352
Liverpool won a trophy: 1,995

and

"It's rumoured the people who clean the Ivorian's boots still occasionally find pieces of Senderos among the studs."

Vermaelen and Jenkinson fitness:
Arsène Wenger revealed the latest team news ahead of the Chelsea game:

on Thomas Vermaelen...
We had good news about Vermaelen in the game against Bolton the other night. It was just cramp [that forced him to come off] so that's good news. He will certainly be in the squad at Chelsea. I don’t know yet whether he will start, I have to think about that. I feel physically he is not completely ready because he had problems to finish the game against Bolton, but he is close. We play two games in three days and I will have to evaluate the whole situation. But Thomas always wants to play.

on Carl Jenkinson...
I will know more [about Jenkinson's fitness] after training on Friday. Jenkinson was alright yesterday, but I don't know if I will take him or not. It depends how well he does in training today.

I don't see how Diaby would get back in the side anyway.
he is a reserve team player at best.

Unfortunately we need to remain patient for the return of the great man. He's ready and waiting to transform the season.

Pre-Mourinho they couldn't buy a win against us

Sadly they've bought a good few since then
