As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The only reason that makes any sense to me is that if we play Arshavin he stays in the shop window for January selling and if he was dropped completely his price would drop considerably.
Obviously, I am probably wrong and Wenger could well be a blind / stupid / stubborn fool who thinks Arshavin deserves a run out on merit
I am left to wonder if the Ox has been seeing the GICs wife behind his back. Either that or our lazy Russian has some photos of Arsene and his French Rapper which he has shared with Chamslack.
Imagine watching shite like Chamslack and Arshavin getting on the pitch before you. It'd be enough to destroy a lot of young players confidence but when you consider who is getting on instead it must be soul destroying.
The way Arsene has treated this young man is criminal. The Ox could come on and score a goal ala Giggs vs us all those years ago and he STILL wouldnt get a game.
The Ox deserves better- its getting to the stage where it is harmful to the lads confidence.
Lets take one of the leading youth talents in the country, watch him produce four or five performances showing maturity beyond his years, and most importantly the confidence of a player ten years his elder and then do what..........watch him play gooseberry to Arshavin, Rosicky and Benayoun's love in with the manager
I hope the Self Harmer sends the kid out on loan now - its bleeding fucking obvious he doesn't even trust him for 10 minutes in a PL game, so let the lad go and help a team that might fucking benefit from someone with a bit of pace and zest

I see what you mean but I think I've detected a massive flaw in your analysis.
If Arseshavin stays in the "shop window" then everybody will know exactly just how shit he really is and "his price would drop considerably"
But then I do reckon Wenger is a "blind/stupid/stubborn fool"

What a twat Wenger is. The game was crying out for Chamberlain in the second half.
Wenger won't play the ox because if he does it will look like he bought a really great talent. If he waits and doesn't play him at all until next season then it will look like Wenger nurtured and produced a great talent and that's what he wants everyone to think.
Wenger is a hypocritical twat, he is using Chamberlin's age and experience as a justification for not playing him but would happily play Jack for 50 games and throw Scezceny in to bail him out of the shit when it suits him.
Chamberlin would have won us the game today, that's not me being drastic, it was crying out for someone to take the game by the scruf of the kneck, instead we got Arshavin and Chamakh, absolutely irate tonight, its been the only downer this Christmas.

Wouldn't surprise me. This is Wenger we're talking about - cretin of a man.

Bang on STL, it seriously looks to me like Wenger is more interested in advancing his personal reputation than Arsenal succeeding.
I think Alex may as well just go now- the GIC obviously has no intentions to play him.
People are saying that he will get a shot when Gervinho goes to the ACN, I wouldnt count on it. Today at 1-0 we realistically need a second goal to make the game safe and he brings on fucking Benayoun. In fact the "85k week a man" Walcunt had a shocker as well but instead our dear leader opted for Roshitty.
Ironically Roshittys shite marking would contribute to their first goal but the fact remains. We substituted BOTH our wingers and the Ox still didnt get on.

No you are right- not even on the bench FFS
Arsene should be up on charges of criminal negligence- to our football club
