got me £5 @ 45/1 on a 2-2 draw, with rvp 1st goalscorer. both defences are suspect, esp ours, so it will produce goals.

Bet we lose 3-0,while showing great mental strength and character!!!
Now surely not....delivery of quality and proven character throughout the team, the referee didn't give us anything (again!).

But then again I could just be crazy and hope we win, still I am only being a little pedantic here!
 :D

Beat Moan United? :coffeespit: :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

Not with our team, especially if Arteta is out. Even with Uniteds weak midfield, Song and Rambo will be miles off the pace. Nani will rip Djourou a new arse'ole and Rooney better be man marked by Kos cause otherwise he will run riot. It could be embarrassing.

So no chance of Arteta playing (Baba will be pleased), which means it's the midfield that conceded 63% possession to Swansea in his absence, cost us the 2nd goal and gave the ball away endlessly. Still, who needs the 'myth' that's Arteta eh? I'm sure Ramsey and Song will run United ragged.

The other good news from below though is that Fabianski's fit.....phew, thank fuck for that

Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team news ahead of the Manchester United game:

on Thomas Vermaelen (calf)
At the moment I don’t think he will make it for Sunday. Let’s hope we have a good surprise. Let’s see how he develops. There may be a test. At the moment we just go day by day but he looks short.

on Mikel Arteta (calf)…
He has no chance. The earliest for him is Aston Villa.

on Thierry Henry…
He will have a test on Saturday. He has a calf problem.

on Jack Wilshere (ankle)…
There is positive news about him because he is back to running after he had a little setback with the inflammation of his bone. He is able to go outside and practice but he is a few weeks away.

on Bacary Sagna (ankle) and Kieran Gibbs (groin)...
Both of them are about two to three weeks away.

on Francis Coquelin (hamstring)…
He is three, four or five days away from full training. I did not see him on Thursday but he is not far away. He could be available for Aston Villa.

on Lukasz Fabianski...
He is fit again.

on Carl Jenkinson (back)…
He is like Wilshere. He is back running but it will be a few weeks.

on Andre Santos (ankle)...
He is two months away. He is progressing well. We planned 12 weeks and he is on schedule

The pointlessness of the Santos injury still fucking bugs me. That was one of Wenger's worst incidents of incompetence and bad management.

He hasn't actually given a definite return date for any of them, what an incompetent piece of shite he is.

So we're essentially going to have pretty much the same side that got fucked up by them. FORWARD

United are a very poor team it has to be said but are they as poor as we are ? They def wont be as poor as an Arsenal side missing arteta, wilshire, all our full backs and probably tv5 :(

Some of my buddies who support neither side tell me that we will win cos manure have a shite midfield but then you look at our midfield trio (song, ramsey and benny) last sunday and you start to feel suicidal :( I thought ramsey actually worked hard last sunday (as opposed to the other 2 *word censored* who done fcuk all  ) but at the same time he made some poor mistakes and the thing that worries me is that I never feel like he is the type of guy that will respond well if the fans are on his back.

It also has to be recognised that if we have djouru and miguel as full backs then any 2 of nani, valencia, young and park will absolutely tear them apart  Nani in particular scares the bejesus out of me for sunday cos of his pace and directness and nani is never a player that has concerned me in the past.

As usuall our hopes rest squarely on the shoulders of rvp - they know that if they keep him out of the game then we are fcuked. If that happens then I can quite easily see a return of the deeply angry and frustrated rvp which will lead to a red card for our talisman
The other slight possibility for us could surprisingly be feo braindead walnut  Now I know he is vastly vastly over-rated and isnt related to a footballer but evra is having a 'mare of a season so he could even be shittier than walnut on sunday  Of course being a big game sunday evra could come out 100% focused, kick feo a few times in the first 20 minutes then sit back and watch walnut run blind all day or hide away from the game as has often happened

1-3 I am afraid

spot on comment

a few weeks ago I thought we could catch United, Not anymore. Reason - our injuries haven't cleared up as quickly as thought.

my prediction a few weeks ago is looking bad now I admit that, but to lose Vermaelen and Arteta on top of those already missing was something I didn't expect. I just cannot see how we can hold out against them

To be fair Augie Theo for all his faults has a record of turning up for big games, a damn sight more than most of the bottlers of Wenger's Project.
