If Spurs win the league . . .
WHAT A BUNCH OF CUNTZ
More like GOD FORBID ! Seriously this thread is a total embarrassment to Arsenal .Percy Dalton wrote:Unfortunately, the original post writers thoughts sum up a lot of Arsenal supporters these days!
Would Spurs winning the league be such a bad thing?
Dear fucking God!
Please fuck off and don't come back .
I WANT TOTTENHAM TO LOSE EVERY GAME THEY PLAY and have never ever wanted them to win or even draw even if i were to give us an advantage .
Some years ago (99???) we were second last game home to Blackburn whilst they went to Old Trafford .
Word came round the ground of Ferdinand scoring at OT and some misguided fools started cheering and even sang come on tottingham.
several slaps later a cry of United went up and order was restored.
We even had a banner in the pub beforehand "Glad to be 2nd"
It is simply not acceptable to even consider them winning anything ever !
Its almost as bad as the twat the other day saying he refuses to give the club any money or attend any matches even if a freebie was offered until he see regime change.
Get real dweebs,Arsenal doesn't need you doesn't heed you and couldn't give a toss what you think .
Frankly neither do I.

I agree with Herd on this one .. wishing the scum to win the league for any reason whatsoever even just for the hope that it will put some pressure on the board, is blasphemy ...Herd wrote:More like GOD FORBID ! Have to agree with the majority on this one. In 99 I wanted us to win the league that day and when I heard the scum were one-nil up against the manc filth I was saying to my mate "well, we could win the league but I'd rather those crunts lost tbh" and he agreed.
It was a strange kind of dissapointed relief when the manc filth beat the scum and we lost the league. At least the scum had lost.
How any true Gooner could think those fucknuggets WINNING THE PL could be anything but bad is beyond me...

Watching the bastards celebrating losing to utd, in my local that day, I'm sorry but I don't share your sentiments.DB10GOONER wrote:Have to agree with the majority on this one. Ther were 5 of us in the pub that day surrounded by utd and spurs fans, both games on television, truly one of the most sickening days of my life as a footie fan, even worse than Paris.
I had always had a certain amount of respect for Ginola until that day (he had been to play as a guest in a game against Derry city and spent loads of time with the kids sigining autographs) but he disgraced himself that day, giving the thumbs up to utd fans as he left the pitch feigning an injury.

I dont understand how the Spuds winning the league would be good news for US???
Apart from the fact that we would never be able to live it down it doesnt even affect the way the board think anyway.
If we finish Top 4 and the Spuds win the league they would be thrilled as it would get them their precious CL revenue. Diaby would put on his Spuds shirt and go out with them to celebrate their title win whilst the board would hand Arsene his new £8.5m a year contract as they celebrate together with their 4th place trophy.
Meanwhile the fans suffer.
I dont see how that situation "benefits" us

Maybe I put it wrong... I wanted to win the PL that day (of course) but it was soured by the fact that we needed the scum to take points off the manc filth. I would have lived with them winning so we could win the PL (the celebratory beers would cetainly have helped!) but them losing was a kind of consolation in that we hadn't relied on them for us to win the PL.I Hate Hleb wrote:Strange that DB10 because I wanted them to win as they were United's opponents and we needed United to drop points to help us win the league.![]()
If that meant temporarily going against my natural instinct and not wanting Spurs to lose, then so be it!!

Agree 100% with the last point though.![]()

Yeeeeeeaaaahhhh.... that doesn't make much more sense really does it?

To simplify; I hate the scum and NEVER want them to even win a *raffle, never mind a game or - GOD SWEET CHRIST FORBID - the PL.
*Said raffle in an N17 pub would offer a top prize of a night fucking their own sister who is also their mother.

cameron326 wrote:Still very unlikely to happen, but would it be such a bad thing? So Spurs would get gloating rights for a few seasons - no big deal. The trophy cabinets still speak for themselves. On the bright side:
1)This might be the wake up call Arsenal needs. If we finish outside the top 4, the mandate for next season will be "regaining our place in the top 4". That's it. The unspoken message will be that we can't compete with the balance sheets of City, Utd and Chelsea. Everything carries on. Business as usual.
Only a Spurs title might provide the shock to the system leading to a massive rethink, investments and the change in philosophy required. No more excuses could be made. Anything but this self-satisfied smugness at finishing 3rd/4th/5th year on year on year, with the clubs major ambitions relating to the bank balance rather than success on the pitch.
2)Its better than the alternatives - namely the Manchester clubs. Man City have not earned their current league position. And we're all sick to death of Man Utd's dominance. At least Spurs are where they are through smart management and the acquisition of talented players at reasonable prices.
3)It would liven up the whole league and lead to some cracking London Derbys.
