Midweek games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Was pretty obvious. Bolton were over-committing up front.

my hatred of sperz is sadly equal i think to my love of arsenal, and thats terrible. i just hope they dont get back in the top 4, god forbid finish above us, a the only small consolation if the havs were to scrape a win in munchen would be seeing spurs miss out on cl despite finishing 4th. were that to happen i dont doubt the cretinous (yet competent at running a club) levy will threaten legal proceedings etc, and the whinging will never stop.

i suppose its cos their fans are just c u next tuesdays when it comes to football...you can always tell a spurs fan, like that wanker richard godwin in the evening standard. i say this yet one of my best mates is one. but its still true.

not really.

They could lose at Villa on Sunday.
Villa are the worst team in the league on current form bar Wolves

tonight was the Spuds hardest game. They will win their last two games and we need 6 pts when we have taken 2 from our last 9pts

The added thing you need to consider is that this result effectively makes Villa safe.

I genuinely don't get your point, Augie.

It's irrelevant who Sp*rs are playing, as we'd be supporting the opponents regardless as we need/want them to drop points. Why is that sad???

United will be hoping QPR beat Citeh so ManUre can win the league... is it sad that they're depending on a result from a team in the bottom 3?? - no, of course not...

or have I misunderstood? (I probably have   )

I understand what you are saying and it is of course correct but my gripe was that we should have taken care of our own stuff and not have to depend on relegation fodder to get us top 4
