playing ferrer on clay totally different to grass though hence he has never beat him on clay but on a faster surface hard courts the h2h is 5-1 pretty suprised people think ferrer has a chance, i see this very comfortable for murray.

Well done Murray, fought brilliantly today.

It must be said that while Ferrer battles for every point even when staring down the barrell he's not very mentally tough when it comes to seeing off opponents. He was serving for both the first and second set and bottled both games horrendously, despite eventually taking the first on the breaker.

Murray is going to have to turn up with his best serving to beat Tsonga because the bloke gives you very little on his serve.
