on your period mate?

to put it simply, if a player consistently plays sideways passes, looses possesion, attempts backheels in their own half and misses every goalscoring chance they get they will come under pressure from their own fans. that a fact, no-one here needs to take a long hard look at themselves (what a silly overreaction  ) because they get annoyed by it, he has been poor this season, and we may groan when he plays a poor ball or looses possesion in the ground but I will always support him, and sing his name while he plays for us.
The "Real Problem" isn't people online getting their knickers in a twist and slating their own players but those that will do ANYTHING to defend a player and abuse others who don't agree (not saying you did) He is a young lad, on low confidence but I can't remember him having a really good match since chelsea away last october. Thats a long time for someone who is favoured so much by wenger. It's worrying to how much he will persist with players that constantly under perform , when other managers would drop them. See players like Song and Djorou still making the team week in week out. And Santos btw was appaling against Wolves, doesn't mean I wish him or his family harm, and it doesn't mean I won't support him when I'm at a match either.

But not all the critisisim has been as level headed as yours Norris. Ive seen tweets about Ramsey daily along the lines of "whats the point of Ramsey" , "Ramsey is the effing worst player to have ever worn the red n white" (probably from JCL's who havemt heard of Helder or mcGoldrick), "I wish Ramsey would break his leg again so wenger couldnt pick him" etc etc. Shocking.

What Some fans (again probably mainly the JCL’s) need to understand is that a player f Fabregas’s calibre will only come along once in a generation, and Arsenal were blessed to have such a supreme talent in the team. Putting pressure on ramsey, and now the Ox to be this footballing wizard will only lead to disappointment.

The abuse Ramsey is getting is appaulling, i really hope the "threats" he has been getting are not from genuine gooners....although from some of the twats i had to sit with on Monday, i dare say there is a good chance they are.

He is a player that has been run into the ground for 12-18 months now and needs a proper break - he is a good player, one that needs to improve of course, but has raw talent and im sure will be part of the future with the likes of OX and Wilshire. He needs a break, he needs support and he needs a little bit of luck infront of goal.

Little fact - Wolves away, game he was lambasted in, he ran further than any other player on the pitch, made more succesful passes and created 3 goalscoring opportunities - he is putting the work in, give the guy a break.

If you want to pick out someone who lets the side down...look at a certain right midfielder who is prone to going missing for long periods of time!

Ramsey, still being excused, because of his leg break, he is a championship player and always will be. I don't give a flying f*** how he plays for Wales, lots of championship players play well for their countries, in one off internationals, just look at Ireland teams over recent years.
The fact remains he doesn't, hasn't and never will do it for us.

Some of the posts on here are right out of order. For gods sake it would probably help the player if everyone got behind him and gave him some support. For people to say they hope he breaks his leg , they are sick.

I wonder if it is a lot of jcl's making these comments as believe me we have had far far worse over the years at Arsenal. ( recently Flappanski , Djorou , Eboue) , what Ramsey needs on Saturday is the crowd behind him !!!!!!

The guy has been running on empty tince around february, I have no doubt that Wenger never intended to play Rambo anywhere near as much as he has this season and that it is only because of the injuries to Diaby and Wilshere that he has had as much game time as he has.

The lad is 21 years old, has missed a full season through injury and has been relied on to play 30+ games this season. Given the amount he runs in matches as well and the fact that recently he has been playing out of position on the wings where he has to get forward and cover is it any wonder that he is running out of steam. Sure he has been out of form but some of the critisism on Ramsey is well over the top in my opinion. With the injury to Arteta and Yossi being unable to play Saturday he will be back in his more familiar central role and hopefully he can prove all the doubters wrong with a class performance similar to the one against MUFC last season.

Any Arsenal fan who comes on here wishing one of our players would break his leg or celebrating it when it happens, should be removed from the forum immediately IMO. If that isn't either being a WUM or disrespectful then I don't know what is - no better than labelling a player a c++t, in fact I think its ten times worse; actually wishing physical injury to a player rather than just a throw away swear word in anger

Sort it out people

I hate Ramsey. I think he's a terrible championship-quality player who won't come good. But I wouldn't wish any physical harm to him, that's too far. I can see why in a moment of madness (Usually after one of his amazing back heels...) why someone would stupidly shout it, but in the cold light of day I bet he didn't genuinely believe it. If he did, then he's sick.

I don't think the broken leg comment was ever on here. Someone said they saw it on twitter.

There was a reference to it which was subsequently deleted.

That's why I thought untill someone said there was a post about that in the Wigan Match thread.
