Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
Stevo, I think you're forgetting rednoses comments that we won things by playing direct unattractive football ( ha ! ) which led to Arsenes' classic put down of ' everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife" in 2002.
I also remember him slating wrighty and Petit among others, completly overlooking what cynical *word censored* schmeical and keane were.
I'll always hate ferguson for being lucky and obnoxious, more than the also rans like Hughes, allydarce, pulis etc.
They come and go, a few years back it was warnock, oneill and any team with Robbie savage in it ...

Right so Liverpool St Stn is a no no cos the Hammersmith & City line is closed today so where are people going for a beer??
Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
That was quite a witty put down by Wenger. When he's not moaning about fixture lists, refs, or some other conspiracy theory he is capable of these funny moments. I still prefer the one after the City game when Greedy stamped on Van Judas and he came out with the '99 people can see that Adebayor stamps on him, and the other one is Mark Hughes' line.clockender1 wrote:Stevo, I think you're forgetting rednoses comments that we won things by playing direct unattractive football ( ha ! ) which led to Arsenes' classic put down of ' everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife" in 2002.

Don't forget Liverpool last year when they hoofed the ball to that gypsy all game to no avail, very one dimensional and we dealt with it well. Hopefully TV does a similar job today and he is useless. Better do these tw@ts hate them and that fat sack they call a manager.

GOING TO WEST HAM UNITED VS ARSENAL? Please note a train service will operate between West Ham and Barking via Upton Park between 14:00 and 23:00.

Walcott to start up front not out on the wing you heard it here 1st
Where is that "shoot myself in the head emoticon" ?

I think that steve o's post sums it all up for me - fat sam is an absolute absolute c**t of the highest degree but wenger doesnt half give him all the incentitive in the world to get his teams to rough us up "cos we dont like it up them"

On paper we should turn these c**ts over but in their shithole tight ground I aint so sure. The long geordie w****r will surely be unleashed with carlton cole alongside him but I would play kos alongside tv5 tbh. A must win game already in the season
Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
Hope Merts is starting, this should be an interesting game from a defensive viewpoint. Looking forward to
sinking a few pints of San Miguel for this one. Up the Arsenal...

Re: Shammers v Arsenal match thread
Need a win today before the break.
Agree with others about Fat Sam. Normally someone with an ego as big as his has something to back it up but have looked long and hard and nuffink. Hate Red nose more but then its a tie for second between fat sam and hughes
Mert has to start.
Arsenal to win 3-1 with Gervinho scoring at least 1.
