Tottenham fans injured in Rome/Lyon

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We have all heard of italian fans attacking each other and other european team's supporters but Lyon ?? To my knowledge they are not a club with a troublesome support so why attack the scum ? Could it be possible that the scum initiated this battle ? Just speculating here of course

The bar owner said it was a far right group, not Lyon fans.

Probably more to do with the far right group/scum fans calling themselves y**s connection.

You could be right though.

Very soon supporting those c**ts in Europe is going to come with a health and foreign office warning.

I love Lyon some of the best food in the world ,my company took some clients from Mitsubishi there to see Jamaica V Japan in the 98 World Cup but had booked (against the advise of the Herd) through a dodgy ticket firm and got let down !
Facing massive Ross of face with the 4 nip execs ,they send for the Herd to sort it out ,"pas de problem" says Herd only to find when I arrive that due to massive Japanese Buying on the black market there isn't a seat in town to be had .
Herd goes to town with 15,000 euros of the companies cash with a view to secure tickets at any cost .
After a few chats with the cab driver and his pals over the radio Herd discovers the Hotel in town Jamaican FA are staying........arriving in the Hotel I walk in the Bar only to find a Gooner pal who was doing the travel and Hotels for the Jamaicans .
Seats were duly sorted and for a mere fraction of the 15,000 euros the balance of which the Herd takes as his commission .
The seats were on the half way line up the front and in with the rest of the Jamaican delegation and came with all the freebies and drinks that these junket liggers demand .
Spent the next few days relaxing in a weird but very nice place called Perouges a psuedo medieval Village 45 mins outside of town .........larvely !

how old are u herd?

i think its beginning to look like the sperz fans invite all this trouble...is it really such a surprise. they are c**ts in in games in this country, so i dont think it requires much of a leap of faith to think they are not helping themselves overseas either.

if they were behaving they way they do here, over there coupled with the inexperience of euro competition, i would 'probably assume' they are finding out what things are like and that this may happen where ever they go :box:

such a shame 8)

They do and they have some nasty fans.

But they have regular fans too, so at this stage no knowing which lot got attacked and for what reasons, could be political/racist and non-football related.

they have previous for being some of the scummiest bstards in the league, so i dont think its unfair to presume that some of them may have been asking for it, even though we dont and likely never will know the full details/motives
