Swansea game thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

so were Blackpool and Barnsley. where are they now ?

i'm going by results fella. as we know, no point in neat passing and good technique if you can't score.

although as one of my favourite players a few years back, i do wish Laudrup well but not this week.

our form is the same as theirs - and naarich - last 10 = W3 D4 L3 - 13/30....

Arsenal have won just 3 of their last 9 PL home games (W3 D4 L2) and 2 of those have been when the opposition have been reduced to 10 men

Hernandez will be a big miss for them, I think we'll win it.

Will be a bit embarrassing though if they play the better football than us on our own pitch, which I'm sure will happen.

As poor as we are I would still expect us to win this by a couple of goals tomorrow with 3-1 the most likely outcome. Swansea are a good footballing team but character/belief is important when you play away at one of the so called "big" clubs and I am not sure they have enough of that in their locker to stand toe to toe with us - if they come and take the game to us then they have a chance to get something out of the game but to sit back and try to negate us would be a mistake on their behalf especially when you consider our lack of defensive stability

I am also expecting 1 or 2 players to pick up injuries tomorrow that we require them to be subbed and if I was a betting man then I would suggest that tv5,cazorla,walnut and giroud would be the most at risk
