There are far too many athletes and other celebrities who are paying tribute to him being such a great guy, a true gent and it being a tragic case of mistaken identity. Poor Oscar, feel very sorry for him etc.

Hardly a massive deal in the grand scheme of things but fucking hell do these people not have any PR management? The guy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and they've swallowed a theory that has such little credibility and was propagated primarily by social media (sure we'll see it on McDowell's thread soon enough!) to praise the bloke to high heaven.

They've already been made to look like idiots by the police saying there was a history of domestic abuse and rubbishing the burglar theory, it's only going to get worse after he appears at court and the facts start to come out.

but in all seriousness the "burglar" stuff is very obviously a load of crap and it looks like he's going down. knew he was petulant from his ungracious reaction after defeat in the paralympic 100m final but murder? wow.

You dont accidentally shoot an intruder three times. At the same time however he made a right shit attempt at getting away with it if it was premeditated murder. Which suggests a crime of passion but I can't imagine shooting being the MO of many crimes of passion or domestic abuse, unless he walks around his house with his gun all the time.
