santos out

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

£7m quid transfer, £60k-odd p/w and we paid him up to sling his hook. Without doubt one of the worst signings ever made buy the fourth official abuser.

It's not his fault he was shit but who the hell identified him as an Arsenal calibre player in the 1st place? They should be relieved of their duties.

Stepanovs was well out of his depth - not the first, won't be the last and we've had a few since him. But Santos was a fat bastard who despite earning wads of money every week was still massively overweight and nowhere near fit enough for a professional footballer because he couldn't be arsed putting in the effort on the training pitch (or show restraint at the dinner table). Just like he couldn't be arsed putting in the effort on the pitch - happy to charge forward but not to chase back. As for the pathetic pandering towards van Judas...
