Could see straight away he went over the ball, disgusting tackle. Of course, he's English so it's a little bit clumsy etc and not in fact a potential leg/ankle-breaker.

No fucking excuses now AFC!!!

Who was the "assault" on ?
Arteta.

It was on Arteta Augie. Just a ridiculous tackle, straight over the ball (and a bit late) but from a standing position so can't even try and use the excuse of momentum or whatever.

Really worrying how easily we were carved open by 10 men just because our striker lost the ball just then. Very early doors yet but we've created zero, disappointed (despite possession) that we've let them settle - Madrid at Old Trafford was a great example of being ruthless against 10 men.

Have a feeling Walcott will just decide to play essentially as a striker off the last man's shoulder now they're down to 10 - tbh wouldn't really be a bad thing, no point keeping negative 4-5-1 against 10.

Very novel approach they're taking to attacking - moving the ball with pace and running with purpose and direction. Well I never.

So far massive similarities between this game and Southampton away (and probably a fair few others!). They're just getting men behind the ball, defending narrowly and forcing us out wide and we're more than happy to let them dictate to us how to play. We're just being forced to either pass the ball across the midfield or go out wide, in which case our full-back will have one man to aim for in the box.

We need somebody who can beat a man. Unfortunately Wilshere and Podolski are the best at that and they're on the bench. Still, plenty of time :barscarf:

Is that allowed? I hope Wenger's complaining to the fourth official accordingly.

it's bad isn't it? how the fuck are we making ten man Fulham look dangerous every single time they get the ball?!

and LOL at the commentaters suggesting wenger might make a tactical changes or even actually make a sub at half time!

if i had just turned this game on, i would think its us down to 10 men!!!!

shocking so far, bit of urgency and meaning to our play please!! why no Podolski again? would love to know whats going on there!

surely we can put a goal in against a 10 man team with Senderos at centre back???

That's a relief but with the way we've been playing in this game the shrewd money will be on a fulham equaliser second half.

If we had a proper striker that doesn't just stand next to the centre half for 90 minutes and a right winger who hasn't been on the beach since becoming the highest paid player at the club then we could easily pick this lot apart.

It can't be true because it is against the rules of Wengerball, but the move for the goal looked like it was worked out on the training field!

We are still looking horribly vulnerable.
