WIGAN HOME

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This is the table based on Lawro's predictions. Now obviously over the course of a season there will inevitably be a few surprise packages and a few teams 5-10 points better off than they should be, but QPR 8th and Newcastle 9th???? Maybe even funnier is that Arsenal would be second, and given he'll inevitably predict at least 4 points from our last 2 games he's predicted us to amass 89-91 points - around the same as the Invincibles

Wigan are going to be knackered especially in the last 30 mins. The virtual trophy is still on. I don't think I'll be able to sleep between now and Tuesday night, as we're never going to keep our best players if we finish 5th

And world class players like Giroud and Gervinho won't want to sign for us. It really would be Wenger's greatest achievement if he we could win the VT this season

Agreed. Hope you're staying for the lap of appreciation. Who knows, maybe the great man will sign his contract extension on the pitch afterwards as a special celebration of such an achievement

I'd love to SteveO I really would but my reinforced pants will already be close to exploding so I'll be wanting to get home as soon as possible to relieve the "pressure"

I understand buddy.....the cleaning bill at the bowl could be enormous. Hope there's extra paper in the gents as the prospect of beating mighty Wigan to set up that glorious day in Newcastle will be too much to take for many

For that reason I do hope they save it all for when they get home, like me, or we won't be able to afford new striking sensation Akenwa Djenga Obawo from FC Grenoble

Would love to see our boys having to give yet another "guard of honour" Tuesday night - the more embarrassed our players and club get from bowing to small clubs like Wigan, the better I will feel 8)

Bang on Augie, I think we should do one every game, wonder if we do one whether Wenger will bottle out joining in again?
