Tempt fate enough and fate decides it's eaten too much and leaves you alone I reckon.DB10GOONER wrote:I've a feeling you might just have driven the second nail in there, Steve...Steve_I wrote:AH ...![]()

He's lucky it's Wenger's fault for Cook and Pietersen getting out before tea so I've moved on from his jinxing the first wicketDB10GOONER wrote:northbank123 wrote:Are you proud of yourself Steve???Steve_I wrote:Tempting fate perhaps but as I type 31-0 cook and root.... time for a huge opening partnership?![]()

120-1 at tea... you still confident?!northbank123 wrote:Aussies need 299 to win. Good work by England to get there, especially after losing Bell and then Prior pretty early on.
Probably a few too many on a pitch that has misbehaved quite a lot this morning, if Swanny turns up (and he'll definitely fancy it after his batting) he can win this game for us on his own. Aussies will make a decent fist of it and I'm sure they'll have at least one substantial partnership at the top/middle of the order but England should definitely defend this.
