did you see attitude after the game....it tells us all about our team...amateurs are we..
What are you talking about? That looked to me like the best squad of Wenger's rule. Certainly, we should coast to the title....

You are being a little bit coy, lets not undersell the quality, CL would be a cake walk too.

Can't wait for SteveO to get home and write his match report!!
Sanago, runs like Carlton Cole and looks like Emile Heskey so looks a perfect combination.....

Absolutely need a centre half to team up with Kos. The BFG wins fuck all in the air and is turned too easily but apart from that we should stick with him for another season.

Too predictable all over the shop and unfortunately another season like the previous 5 is on its way.

Jesus, we actually fucking lost

Despite only being a jolly weekend this tournament is a perfect example of some of our flaws:

- Give away a 2-goal lead against good opposition and rely on turning up for 20/30 mins to get some kind of result.
- Fail to put a game away from a 1-goal lead and end up nervously trying to hang on.
- STILL CAN'T FUCKING DEFEND AGAINST DROGBA: if I was managing a relegation-bound PL club I'd sign him in his 40s because he'd still be worth 6 points a year against us.

Is that Plinth is Leicester Square still available to be used by all and sundry because Mertesacker would make the perfect candidate to fill it, given his statuesque nature!!  :banghead:

A very disappointing trip to the Grove today. Not a single chant of There's Only One Arsene Wenger to report back I'm afraid. However, there was much love all round for Comedy Eboue, Mexican waves, and 2 goals for Drogba who no doubt "didn't do much else" other than murder our defence for the 15th time.

I'm very excited by Sanogo. The way he was almost able to tackle himself whenever he wanted and the calmness of his finishing means we've undoubtedly unlocked another gem, just like Le Chapman. I think we've sent out a serious message of intent to some of our European rivals this weekend

And just because nobody else sung it today.......can I just say.......

THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

Oh yes I forgot to mention that. Lets boo a player who wanted to join us but who we decided wasn't worth the fee. I think it was probably only second behind the screaming out of the player names a couple of years ago in terms of the most juvenile behaviour witnessed at the Bowl

Nice to see everyone in their brand new piece of £60 yellow shirt though. I'm sure all that extra commercial revenue will be ploughed back into the squad any day now

Of course. Yaya's wages aren't going to pay themselves and neither will Nick "Completely Here" Bendtner's.

Surely a statement like that is enough to get a guy sectioned?
Giroud resumes his transformation into 'Le Chapman' as soon as he sets foot on UK soil. I reckon he is like Clark Kent or something with the notable exception that his transformation is a negative one.
Just a small but massively important point.

Clark Kent is actually Superman's disguise. Clark Kent is who he transforms into.

But I digress, was there a football game today?

Lol, I knew how this was going to turn out and already told my missus to expect to see more of me between 3pm and 5 pm on Saturdays this season than any previous season. I cannot bring myself to watch Arsene FC. Where has OUR Arsenal gone!? The deluded old moron has sucked every last drop of enjoyment from football for me. Hate him.

I have a question.

Where was all of this 'inevitable' hooliganism that everybody was blabbing on about? I tell you one thing though, the atmosphere sounded shite as ever and it could have done with Gala's very own input, as they know how to get a good chant going. The stewards would have had their hands full

Maybe Bananaman would have been a better example for beegees, then? :rubchin:

He was Eric from Arcacia road... and when he ate a banana, an amazing transformation occured... ERIC IS BANANAMAN!! 8)

Ok - perhaps he was Superman in Ligue 1, but coming in and putting on an Arsenal shirt, he turns in to Le Chapman.

Either way, I think that once he wasn't playing against some second rate Indonesian team, he turns into shit.

And to think that some think that he will be as good as Drogba still. Jesus wept. He wasn't as good as a 35 year old Drogba. If he is still our 1st choice striker this year and Pool buy Diego Costa from Athletico as well as Spuds keeping Bale, we could have some issues. Imagine if Giroud gets injured, who are we going to put there? Poldi or Sanogo?

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... stability-

Must show more defensive stability eh? No shit Sherlock. Could it be that way because we are playing a right back at centre half and our only cover at left back currently is Miquel....not to mention Jenkinson not being ready to be a first team regular?

Sign a decent centre half with a left foot you useless wanker
