As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
What's all the whinging about??? Job done in the group stage. All that is needed has been done.
Jack will be on the bench on sunday Rosicky, Ramsey and Carzola in the middle. Unless, of course, Ozil, Benzema, Flamini, Cabaye or Di Maria are signed by Sunday as well as Casillas and Cesar
Fantasic win over two legs. Yes Fenerbache were awful, but we played some good football, we kept two good cleansheets and it will give us confidence. Lets hope that we push on, get the necessary signings to strengthen the squad and have a good season!

shouldn't be on the bench then. should be a u-21 player ready to do a job if needed.
& i'm not slagging the kid off. obviously doesn't look ready. not his fault. AW's...
He'll run around a bit at the start of the season, remain painfully out of his depth and spend teh rest of the year injured/not playing. He'll then be loaned out for the next two seasons.
Like Joel Campbell who is currently on his third season-long loan - is the guy ever going to make an appearance for us in a competitive game?
Leave Wilshere on for the full match when we have the scum on Sunday, he'll never get injured right?
I know mate - wenger is supposed to be intelligent - the dumb fuck!...You watch we'll be without Ox, Pods and jack - when his ankle swells up overnight...all cos dull *word censored* didn't take him off when we're 5 nil up on aggregate...
Would loved to have seen Jenko's attempt on goal go in - good cross by miyachi as well....
In fairness his 3 subs were podolski off injured, Giroud therefore our last remaining credible striker for Sunday and wally walnutt the only wide right option we have. I've seen subs from wenger that make less sense tbh
I was surprised at how restrained Wrighty was, I was hoping that when the inevitable question of Wenger making some new (Quality or Super, top, top quality ) signings came up - He would say it like it is... a tad disappointed in him to be honest, as he normally speaks up for the ignored majority that are screaming for Wenger to spend the dosh we all know he has in his back pocket!
The match itself was a total non-event, atmosphere was dire all game once it became clear Fener didn't have a hope in hell. I started off in the clock end lower. Hundreds of empty seats around me, coulda laid down for a snooze if I fancied. Then moved to North Bank in second half. It was like a lower league game, swapping ends at half time
I don't understand how they could possibly be so bad over two legs, they have a fair amount of decent players Bring on that pre-Christmas trip to Athens!

I think they knew that they will probably get kicked out of European football for match fixing anyway so subconsciously that took something away from their game.
Have to say I'm amazed at how absolutely shit the Turks were in both games. That's not to take away from two very good performances from us either, but the Turks looked very average at best and like shit at worst. We could have put 4 or 5 past them last night alone if we had stepped up a gear.
Great finish for Ramsey's second, a truly beautiful technical finish of top quality - if DB10 or THBW14 had put that away back in the day we'd all be raving about it. There's no denying Ramsey has been very good since the season started and had a little run of good performances late last season too. But how many false dawns have we had with him? I still hope he makes it and becomes a great great player for us but I can't help believing he will once again do more things wrong this season than he will do right. I hope he proves me very wrong though.
Losing Pod just before the scum game is a real blow. Thought Cazorla was good in patches again and Giroud too. Nice to see Theo actually hit the target with a free kick for once. Should see another one of those at some stage in the next 24 months or so!
Also Chesney showed himself for what he is last night; a good shot stopper with poor decision making skills and an inflated ego bordering on pure arrogance. He is not good enough to be number 1 at that level. He should be learning from a top keeper. He's not shit like Flappy, Almunia or Mannone but he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.
Watching Sanogo last night, I got the distinct feeling that inspector Clueless see's him as another version of Greedywhore...starting off shyte and then (eventually) becoming very good, before becoming a lazy wanker and being sold off to some other team for a tidy profit.
