Tickets to increase by 3% next season

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

All very necessary of course but nada about the lack of ambition in the transfer window or culpability for the lack of business - as I said yesterday, I am waiting to see the reaction of the fans groups regarding wenkers new contract :rubchin: I still feel that now is the time to publicly oppose it (until the season ends) instead of waiting until the fcuking thing is signed

I ask again, can we protest yet?

Whilst I applaud the BSM's work, i'm sure the club are not exactly quaking in their boots. Statements like that will be glanced over & forgotten about within 30 seconds. If they even read it at all.

Want them to sit up and listen? You need numbers protesting, marching outside the stadium on match day. Flags, banners, all in front of TV cameras. Get that shit splashed all over SSN & AFC might actually start to get worried...

Exactly, and it's all about timing. After the farcical inaction in the transfer window the media are waiting for the inevitable collapse to poke fun at us and rile the fans. Wait until we have a few poor results in the coming games against Liverpool and against United and then after we lose the Bayern tie in the first 30 minutes and Sky + BBC will be begging for us to have a proper protest before Sunderland at home on 22nd Feb.

I know it's been said before but it's also time for the BSM to get off the fence about Wenger. The issue of ticket prices etc is inextricably linked to transfer and wage expenditure and you can't approach this without calling Wenger into question.

Whilst I agree with the majority of the sentiments they express it's a soft option to just be anti-board. They're an easy target, nobody will disagree with it but ultimately it won't be any concern at all to Gazidis and Kroenke. Fair play for actually making an effort with a protest group (more than I've done) but it's just pissing in the wind at the moment.
