Injuries

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The statement issued from the club sounds like pure bullshit.
Why would any club send out a player for international duty if there was any possibility he was injured?
Would not be surprised if they checked Ozil and told him he was ok.
"You are 100% Mesut, we will do a more thorough test as soon as we have checked up on Abou with his injured hip, just get in the queue there behind Theo, Aaron, Mathieu, Mikel, Yaya, and the gorgeous Olivier".
The other theory is Ozil only made a bigger deal of it once he was away from the clowns in our medical centre.
My final theory? Ozil is mightily pissed at Clueless for insisting he plays wide, this injury, and the way it has been made public means he wants out asap. Would not be suprised if he leaves and January and will never be seen in our shirt again.

If Ozil complained of a sore knee after Chelsea why did he travel to Germany ? Having said that why did Germany send him back to Arsenal ? Does nobody like him anymore ?
International breaks scare me , but players may be safer away from Arsenal at the moment.

Was listening to a radio show last night when a former sportsman suggested the very same . He says yes there may be an injury (no doubting that) but there is a more serious underlying problem with Ozil and Arsenal.

This. The whole department is failing and it's meant to be a world class component of the club, at least needs to be.

Just how many of our squad are currently on the injury table? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Currently we have:-

Gnabry - Knee
Walcott - Knee
Arteta - Calf
Ramsey - Hamstring
Monreal - Back
Sanogo - Hamstring
Debuchy - Ankle
Giroud - Tibia
Ozil - Knee
Diaby - Life in general

Have I missed anyone?

All we need now is for Wilshere or Wellbeck to pick up injuries playing in Internationals and we're fucked

with 10 injuries we are now top tha league

10 players injured in 11 games .

from the Mail : 892 injuries in 12 seasons.

nice to see the papers finally picking this up.

looks like back four of gibbs, per, chambers, bellerin going forwards.

Guys look on the bright side. Wenger could use this (familar) excuse If we fail to win anything by the end of the season.

We always have the worst luck with injuries, Madness how we didn't strengthen the CB position in the summer transfer window.
