Anderlecht Away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He will have a far tougher time against Liege on Sunday. Not even joking. This is a complete fucking embarrassment. For all the 'mental strength' bollocks we are the most spineless bunch of saps around. It has been a feature of the last few seasons that when things go badly, we will play shit for 6 or 7 games before improving. We're not even trying to play football, we're too fucking scared. Absolutely pathetic.

Can't we just go 4-4-2. I would rather see Poldi on and us giving this a proper go rather than having to endure another 45 mins of that shite.

Arsenal = 1 away goal in 500 minutes of CL football.

this the Board defines as "on the shoulder of the European Giants".

still - at least we left Highburys European Nights behind for this, and we pay more than twice as much eh ? :banghead:

have you worked 30 years in football, have you ?

still no shots on target.

sadly, Welbeck or Sanchez will inevitably bail us out again and prolong wonga reign of incompetance.

Simple really........ we are shite :banghead:

I cannot believe that I am actually hoping we lose this!

What really made me laugh was the comment that "Arsenal would have studied them to discover their weaknesses ". What a joke! We play the same game against everyone and don't give a toss what their weaknesses are. If they had a left back with a wooden leg we wouldn't be capable of exploiting it.

Fucking rubbish.

Can Jacqui Oatley do the after-match interview, another chance to see Wanker squirm.

Fucking pathetic. We go 80 yards up the pitch and then because there's too many defenders back we kick the ball out.

Just get Oxlade-Chamberlain on for fuck's sake.

looking at the current tables, i thgink we only really woudl have a hope against Porto or Zenit over two legs. neither of which we'd win away.

Okay, someone needs to tell the team that swapping shirts happens after the game, not at halftime. This Arsenal team in purple are not half bad........... oh, wait a moment :banghead:

fairplay to Rodgers - he subbed Balotelli off for swapping shirts with Pepe at HT apparently.
