Swansea Away Match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We will win this (probably 2-0 or 2-1 with a late Swansea goal) and flapy will show yet again that he is too jittery to be a keeper at this level

That being said, I too would agree wholeheartedly with those that do not give a fcuk whether we win 10-0 or lose 10-0. In fact if we are to lose this game (and again I don't think we will), then I would much rather that we take a real hiding instead of losing by a goal or two  Fed up with excuses and the "interrogation" he gets from the journo's is so watery that I don't know why they bother, but if we took a real hiding then le cock will really be under the spotlight - would also be interesting to see how he would react to being booed by Gooners at the final whistle for the 2nd game in a row 8)

Its the worst feeling in the world as a lifelong fan thinking

a) thank god this is tomorrow so I can enjoy Saturday
b) does it really fucking matter what the score is knowing only the FA Cup can save the season anyway

Top players do not ask "did you win the FA Cup. They ask - do you play in the Champions League?"

morning fellow optimists,
no Arteta today so we are stuck with the overactive arm waving hamster that is Matthieu Flamini.
Swansea play well, we are doomed

Lawro states that we score 'stacks of goals'. I know we did once upon a time, but I don't remember doing it for a long time.

With TH10, DB10 etc, and previously with Wrighty, we regularly tore teams to shreds. I remember teams looking terrified of us, and thinking we'd score every time we got the ball.

Now we just get to glory in the excitement of 64% possession.

And the thing is we know with a coupla signings we could've been back to these days with Sanchez, Theo, Ox Welbeck we got pace aplenty - just put a rock/leader in the middle - but that's too easy - someone knows better :rubchin:

Win this and we're 1 point behind City and 6 clear of Liverpool.

We'll do it, me thinks.
