As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger's logic is non-existent. If he wanted to keep Rosicky surely it should have been one year, and then if he did happen to merit another season we could extend again - hardly as if City or Bayern would have swooped in at the end of this season? How many times have we seen Wenger spunk away the club's money on deals that are ludicrously imbalanced in favour of the undeserving player?
I presume that’s rhetorical NB?

Thanks for pointing out Rosicky's injury, Bentner's.
As others have said, how and when did that happen????
I think we have to let him go, a good player but at his age I thought Wenger kept him for experience in closing out a game, such as David Platt was, but Rosicky is getting less game time than Podolski.

that could be because we're never 'closing out a game' this season. I like Rosicky and I'm sure he still has plenty to offer. What's wrong with him anyhow?

To be fair he was fucking disastrous when he came on against Anderlecht. Obviously this needs to be placed in some context as most of our lot were woeful that night and he hadn't had much playing time at all, but rather than helping us see out the game he gave the ball away like there was no tomorrow.
I guess it depends on his personal motivation but would it be a huge surprise for him to decide to sit on his wages (probably double what he'd get elsewhere) in London with his comfortable settled life for the next 18 months?

That's probably right cos where else is he going to go on the same money, at the same level, and play anymore than he does already.

You need to get out more mate (obviously not while taking huge amounts of laxatives though)
Well, no.... that would be the best time for him to go out. Think of the youtube videos of rodders going through explosive decompression in a supermarket, for example.
