Realistic Replacements for Wenger

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We need the dictator to resign or get sacked in order for Kloop or any other manager to come in and we know that won't happen.

Simeone celebrating Atleti scoring against Real in the cup today with his son. I know it doesn't mean much in the long run, but it only increases my respect and admiration for the man.

Maybe but it does show the absolute passion of the man - we have a manager that mostly sits on his arse during the game, and I would love to have a manager on the sidelines constantly communicating with his players and issuing instruction. I dont know how much of what he is shouting can be classed as tactical changes etc, but I do know that his constant cajoling of his players demands and gets 100% effort for every minute of the game. We have maybe four players (sanchez, debouchy, kos and flamoney  ) who could fit seemlessly into his team structure such is the laissez faire attitude that runs through this squad, and a change of manager to a simeone or klopp would at least see a major improvement in our team regardless of any player recruitment

Dortmund say they will never sack Klopp. Strange thing to say unless they are waiting for him to show his hand. Simeone's star is rising at a great pace. Saw second half of cup game v Real last night. He has his team doing everything a manager would want. They defend as a unit, they hunt in packs and they attack with pace. Most importantly all the player believe in it and in him. There is a unity there that any club should be jealous of. Cannot see him leaving anytime soon. But if he did what a wake up call he would be for some of our players.

Why does it increase your respect and admiration?

Fair play to the ball boy though...didn't let go of that ball. Very professional. 8)

Get the son as a keeper and the father as a manager
