Womens World Cup 2015

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

England win a WC knockout match for the first time ever and the media and chattering classes in general are falling over themselves to criticise the discrimination suffered by the womens game. I would love the BBC or ITV to put a game on their main channel, prime time and see what the audience figures are.
The games are on ITV 3 because they're shit and no-one's interested.

I'm sure the nation is setting its alarm clock as we speak.
I'm surprised it's not on pay-per-view.

I'm saddened that you can't be a bit more gracious about the ladies team. It may never be as big as the mens game but then nobody expects it to be and I'm sure that those involved would be the first to say so. These women are athletes representing our country like any others in any other sport and deserve some support.

I agree (never thought I would see the day! :barscarf: )

My daughter aspires to be a professional footballer and I would like to think she would actually get some support if she was lucky enough to do so!
