Manure at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nearly forgot if the victim Scum lose against everton today ,tht will put Rogers in the headlines once again, another lifeline for Wenger. He really is the Teflon man.
People keep talking about Wenger getting out of jail or given a free pass by the media etc. but there's good reason for that.

The media don't push it because other than making Wenger miserable and Arsenal a laughing stock, there's no story to push.

The fans and media all know Wenger is under no pressure to succeed; there is no threat of sacking. And without that you don't have the same appetite in the press to push it beyond reporting a bad result.

With Mourinho, Lancaster and Rodgers, the press know there's a genuine potential for a sacking and that's news. Wenger losing some games, winning others and ultimately finishing 4th like the 10 years previous whilst not getting a peep of disapproval from Kroenke is not interesting.

So when people say Wenger "got out of jail", I'd question what jail they're referring to as I'm not convinced it exists.

Anyone know who the ref is today. Just want to get my excuses prepared! :x  :barscarf: :barscarf:

Just found out, Anthony Taylor. Is he for us or against us?

Just read an article where Wenger has said he will not be pressured nor forced out. He states he'll leave on his terms, when he is ready. He says he is not feeling pressured at the moment. The comfort, the unaccountability, the sheer arrogance of the man. Scrape a draw today or even a loss with one or two iffy decisions against us, all the focus on Robshaw and Lancaster, the international break coming up.....I swear the man is bulletproof.

Czech back in Wallcott up front. On paper both teams look strong. Merterstatue verses Martial is the main worry.

Are you all super-excited for some slow-paced, possesion based lateral passing followed by Utd countering us at will?

Good. :barscarf:

I fear another "accident" today.

Would like to see something from Ramsey today. He's been site for too long, and rarely turns up against big teams

Is it ok then to give someone a bear hug in the penalty area and bring them to the ground?
