Cmon. Iwobi is easily worth 30k a week.
Bellerin is supposedly on 10k a week. Joel Campbell on 30k a week. Coquelin only 20k a week.
The above players contribute and make a positive difference. What kills me, is Walcott 140k, Arteta 80k, Rosicky 85k, Giroud 100k, Mertesacker 70k (how is LK only earning 60k a week? LK should be on six figures).
Alex Iwobi
Re: Alex Iwobi
In the world of modern football, £30k a week is par for the course for someone in Iwobi's position.
What do you want to pay him? £7.60 an hour and half price match programmes?

Re: Alex Iwobi
True. And how could we justify paying him less than 30k a week given what the likes or Walcott, Arteta and Giroud are on.Robin_L wrote:In the world of modern football, £30k a week is par for the course for someone in Iwobi's position.

Re: Alex Iwobi
We could justify it because he would have accepted half of the money he's been given to have a shot at making it at the club. 15k a week is making no difference to our finances in the grand scheme of things but it's the principle of diluting our youngsters hunger and making them think they've made it before they've even started. Can't wait for our next British Core photo shoot.
Hardly likely he would have said "okay ill fuck off to Barca who will pay me 60k a week as give me plenty of opportunities".
