Next Ingerland Manager

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely. Surely either Talgat Baysufinov or Edgaras Jankauskas were "getable"!! :eh:

Fuck it, at a push, my son's under 12's manager Mick "Bloat" Conway would have given it a go - and he's only half as fat and a quarter as shit as Fat Fuck Sam! 8)

He can't be/do any worse than the clowns that have gone before. ie Capello, McClaren, Hodgson.
At least under Allardyce, he will get some fight into them even if the football aint great. Then again, the football aint been great since Venables.

Which is rationale for appointing any of seven billion people on the planet

Astounding to hear the FA chief executive buying into this myth that England are under unique media and fan pressure and that's the biggest point which needs addressing.

Unbelievably small-minded mentality that a lot of people have that England players don't care and don't try hard enough, whereas NI and Wales did well because their players are infinitely prouder. Complete bollocks. Here's some free advice to get you started Sam - don't change your team, formation and tactics for a major tournament.

Phil Brown is a certainty to get his assistant manager's position - the tango'd crunt has basically been begging for the job everytime he opens his mouth lately  Ì look forward to on pitch half time team talk as he lambasts shrek and starts pointing the finger at him

Defeatist but true.

Maybe if the media/manager told it like is really is, i.e. "Guys, I know you're in the PL earning squillions of quid, but actually you range from being distinctly average to a bit shit, so there's no way you can beat (insert name of almost any country) by trying to outplay them. Instead we're going to kick the shit out of them and hope the occasional hoof up to (insert name of aggressive, beanpole striker) will nick us a goal"

At last we've got a plan.
