Forest away in league cup

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tony Woodcock, one of my all time heroes in a Cologne shirt, impressed for Forest, when they beat Cologne in the semis in1979 and he signed for Cologne after winning the EC-trophy with Forest. He's one of the reasons I actually became a Gooner when he then left Cologne after his first spell to play for the Arsenal. I knew a Cologne fan with a season ticket for Forest for similar reasons in the mid 80s. Bit of a trend setter when all ze Germans were travelling to England in the 90s to experience a bit of proper English Div1/PL football and fandom.

Wenger doesn't think Perez is good enough for the big comps but just enough for the League Cup. He's spent 17m on a backup to Giroud. Clearly does not rate him at all. He'll stick with Sanchez until Giroud is back.
That team selection is his get out of gaol card excuse number1 - The arrogant prickcunt. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

He should be banished to the reserves and deducted wages for having the audacity to shoot

See Gibbs is really not seizing the opportunity to stake a claim in the first team
